Spending more than hundred solely on your facial wash? Thinking you have got no pimple means that your face is VERY CLEAN? What if I say it’s filled with eight-legged bugs???? Yes, what I am saying, is true.

Demodex folliculorum and Demodex brevis are the only mites found on human body. They are also being called “FACE MITES” because they gather mostly on human’s face, especially near the nose, eyebrows, and eyelashes. The bug is covered with scales which allow them to anchor themselves onto to our hair follicile where they eat our dead skin cells, hormones and oils accumulated there.
Good news is, they have a very good digestive system and they have very little “output”.
Bad news is, they breed, A LOT.
Luckily, the mites do not bring harm to any of us. And most of them go unobserved living on human’s face for their entire lives. However, to certain people, it is believed that these bugs are linked to acne vulgaris. Scientist claims that only people whose hair follicles are sensitive towards these bugs will be infected.
Just remember one thing though, never put your face under the microscope. -____-||
